  Best Italian in a very long time
  SERVICE: Excellent!
  FOOD: Excellent!
  Calamari appetizer was perfect, I had veal parm, best I've had in the US. Wife had eggplant parm, same, Excellent all the way. Large portions, had to take some home!
  Will definitely go back...

  CAUTION!!!! The eggplant parmigiana is really breading parmigiana. Don't need to say more!!!!

  Mona Lisa is my Italian comfort food go to place.  The staff is the best possible, the same waitresses for at least 5 years.  Cuisine is varied and really good.  Salads are always fresh.  The wine selection is decent and they usually have something on special.

  It isn't if we have never eaten here before with friends, but tonight, was a night to forget. Service.... what service..... long, very long time for anything to come out of the kitchen, other then the pre-made salads. We realize it's not the wait staff fault, for they can only serve what is made, but definitely understand it's easier to feed a party of two vs a party of six.
  
  Food eventually appeared, with one of the specials cold, which was sent back & then re-appeared overdone. Other entree's were average at best; such a huge disappointment, for this chef & staff can cook, under all circumstances...  guess this night wasn't in the cards.

  Wow that was a waste.. driving by it so many times, I was like, "oh check that dive Italian place. Looked local and authentic. I bet it's great." Curiosity finally got the better of me.
  
  Service was so so bad. I waited tables alot in college too so I am pretty generous..
  
  Took 15 minutes to get our order taken.  Drink refills nah.
  
  Let me tell you bout this bread. They act like it's something else but it was just bad. The place is pretty filthy.  I can't imagine what the kitchen is like.
  
  Both mine and my wife's food came in about 25 minutes but my daughter's pizza never came. Finally we asked for it to go..took another 15 minutes and then they tried to charge us. Asked to talk to the OWNER about it and he refused to come out. So they took the pizza back.  
  
  Waved thumbs down at the owner on the way out, he just waved like thanks I don't need your business.
  
  Server could not have cared less about any of this.
  
  If this was the last place in Hendersonville I wouldn't return.
